COVID-19 OFFICE UPDATES
IF YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED PLEASE NOTE:
If you or anyone in your household has travelled, has any flu-like symptoms or loss of taste and smell, or has come in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we are required to reschedule your visit. Please contact the office prior to your appointment to get that rescheduled.
When You Come In For An Appointment...
-
Please come alone. At this time, we are not allowing any visitors in the building with patients being seen. Exceptions will only be made for minors who are being seen by the doctor and those that require a caregiver.
-
When you arrive for your appointment, we ask that you stay in your car and call the office. When the technician is ready to bring you in for your pre-testing, she will come out to your car and bring you inside.
-
When you arrive, be sure to park in front of one of our numbered signs so that when we are ready for you, we know where you are! See the photo at the bottom of the page so you know what to look for!
-
All patients entering the building will be required to wear a face mask. If you are unable or unwilling to wear a face mask, please let us know and we will be happy to reschedule you.
-
Before we begin your appointment, all patients will have their temperature checked and be given a COVID-19 screening. This is to ensure that we keep everyone in our office as safe as possible.
-
If you have been sick, had a fever, or traveled outside of the area within 14 days of your appointment, we ask that you call the office at (850)453-4373 to reschedule your appointment.
If You Stop By To Pick-Up Or Get An Adjustment...
-
Until further notice, all optical needs are being seen on an appointment only basis. If you need to pick up, need an adjustment, or would like to purchase glasses, please call our office and we will get you on the schedule.
-
If you stop by to pick up without an appointment, please be prepared to wait in your car. When you arrive, call the office and we will have someone come get you when they have an opportunity.
What Our Staff Is Doing...
-
Every morning, before staff is allowed in the building to work, each staff member is being screened for any signs of illness. We are enforcing a strict sick policy which requires any staff member will a communicable illness to stay home until they have clearance from a physician to resume work in the office.
-
When seeing patients, all our staff members will be required to wear masks at all times. This is to protect both the patients and the staff.
-
As a result of COVID-19, we have removed all unnecessary "extras" from the office. We have removed all magazines and pamphlets from the exam rooms and the office staff is working to vigilantly sanitize the office every hour as well as in between patients.
-
At this time, we are advising our patients to practice social distancing inside, wait in their cars until we have screened and approved them to come in, and to wear masks and wash hands once they're inside.
We appreciate everyone who has remained patient with our office while we tried to best handle this situation. We look forward to opening our doors to our patients again and we can't wait to see you once you get here!
